INTRO:
What was originally a 'Quake Clan' has become, over the past twenty-five years, an 'Online Gaming Family'. We're a bunch of fun-loving guys and gals who hang out on IRC (and Discord!) and played games like QuakeWorld, Quake III Arena, Unreal Tournament, and
EverQuest on the 'net. Lots of lurking these days but still game quite a bit with newer titles. Our members range in age from pre-teen to
50+ and are from many different states. We even have some members from foreign
countries!
HISTORY:
Statler and I (Waldorf) started this group back in July of 1996 as an
alternative to the few other clans of the time that were very... well,
shall we say, 'satanic sounding'... :) We were id Software's 16th official clan
and Clanring's 43rd official clan... Since then, the clan population has grown
to many thousands and more clans are formed each day!
PURPOSE:
Our main mission is to have fun and develop relationships with people from
all over the world with similar interests.
